Nexus Release Notes

Version V7-LTS-2.0000

This rollout is a Long-Term Support (LTS) release, with support provided until December 2030. It includes updated documentation and minor typo corrections.

Upgrading to V7-LTS-2.0000


  1. Download the package from our Downloads Section.
  2. Stop the Nexus Server.
  3. Extract the archive to the installation directory, overwriting existing files.
  4. Start the Nexus Server.



Version V7-1.9118

This update includes important bug fixes and new services. Please also update your Nexus Applicaion and Vista Connect client software.

  • - Changed services restart order to correct Sky Link re-join
  • - Flow-fx receives now payloads from event hubs
  • - Nebula can now be deployed on Oracle 9 and Ubuntu 22.04
  • - Changed Include to Register Sky Node
  • - Extended Vista Pool protocol to RDP, XVNC, and SPICE
  • - Fixed dns resolve in guests issue when Sky Links is active
  • - Release of new Vista Connect for Windows and Linux
  • - Overflow card actions menu fix, the popup menu stays in screen now

Version V7-1.7447

This update delivers critical bug fixes. The Nexus Application and Vista Client software version V7-17000 is fully compatible with Nexus V7-1.7447 and may be optionally upgraded.

  • - License did not activate for the XVM Edit command
  • - Orphaned XVM after migrate compute can be rescued by open and update now
  • - Vista Session can not be deleted when Access Gate is already deleted
  • - Start Pin - Instances-xvm does not open
  • - Serverless-json - Delete does not complete because of permission issues
  • - Publish to Stacks stayed in a disabled state
  • - Support for CentOS Stream request

This update includes important security enhancements and bug fixes. Please upgrade as soon as possible. Additionally, make sure to update your Vista Connect Client and Nexus Application.

Fixes


Nebula Deployment
  • The Nebula deployment occasionally failed due to an invalid certificate error with the RHEL/Debian Linux repository. This issue has now been resolved by re-certifying the repository and updating the new locations.

Nexus Flow-fx
  • Flow-fx sometimes notified too late that the save operation was successful.

Fixes


Magna-s3 API
  • Fixed an issue with the auto load balancer where the least connection property was not set correctly, causing it to default to the round-robin method.
Data Spark-solaris API
  • Fixed an issue with the dataspark-solaris-submit-job command that was not logging the requestor object, which resulted in unknown job names appearing in the logs.



Known Issues


Data Insight
  • Data Insight services are not accessible via Vista because the Vista Connect client receives access policies from the Vista API, which currently does not forward Data Insight cloud policies.
